Taylor Swift came to Lady Gaga’s defense after the “Applause” singer posted a TikTok video to dispel pregnancy rumors.
On Gaga’s post, Swift penned, “Can we collectively acknowledge that it’s intrusive and inappropriate to remark on a woman’s physique? Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation, and neither does any woman.”
In the TikTok video, Gaga showcased her black cat-eye makeup with the caption “not pregnant – just feeling down and crying at the gym; register to vote at www.headcount.org.”
The phrase “down bad, crying at the gym” is a nod to Swift’s song “Down Bad” from her album “The Tortured Poets Department.”
The majority of comments on Gaga’s post commended her for speaking out, as she has also faced unwarranted scrutiny regarding pregnancy rumors.
